  • Back On The Mainland

    I know that I have not posted for a couple of weeks so sorry to my handful of readers but I actually went on vacation with my family to Hawaii.  This was pretty momentous as it was the first major trip since my daughter was born.  My wife and I have been to Hawaii a number of times separately and together, but I must say this was a new experience.  We all had a blast but with my daughter not having the best plane trips and not adjusting to the time change until just two days before we came home it was not the most restful of trips.  I am glad that we got to go though and feel so blessed that we had the opportunity. 

     

    We would like to especially thank our friend Linda as she went way out of her way to spend time with us and help us out with things that made our trip a success.  Thank you also to her friend who graciously loaned us one of her strollers, it made our life much easier.  Also thanks to our friends the Ross’s who took us out to dinner in the midst of their crazy schedule.

  • @StudioFong - Thanks Cindy.  I think we ate there a number of times.  Just such an easy place to go.  Also you can then get your brother in-laws favorite treat…Dole Whip!!  So refreshing!!!  Aaaaahhhh…..

  • @jeny63 - Hey Jenny, you don’t know how right you are.  We had a fantastic time and were glad we got to go but as I mentioned our little girl had trouble sleeping on the plane and adjusting for the time.  Thus small child + lack of sleep = grump monster!  Okay maybe not that bad but she had her moments.  Thanks for the welcome home, hope things are going well for you.

  • @h1t5uj1 - Three of those cuties are my friends so I will say thanks for her but also I’ll say thanks for my own daughter.  We think she is cute but as parents we are obviously biased.  =)
