  • Good Bye Halloween

Well another halloween has come and gone.  I can’t say that I am the biggest fan or the crazy about the whole thing but this year I was sort of looking forward to it as this was really the first year that my oldest daughter could really participate and enjoy the experience since she is now 2 yrs 8 mos old.  So we were going to go trick or treating with some of our friends and their son out at the mall.  Also her pre-school has a gathering on Sunday as well that looks to be a lot of fun.  But last night in the middle of the night she woke up and was crying.  My wife went in to see what was the matter and noted that she seemed hot.  So she took her temperature and sure enough she had a fever.  My heart sort of sunk right there since I knew that probably meant that we could not take her out to do any of those things.  I felt sad for her and I must say I was a bit disappointed too since I was looking forward to doing those things with her and the family.  Well in the end we still were all together and  I am sure there are many to come but still wish she could have gone out to experience all those things.  Here is a picture from today.  She is not wearing her costume as she did not want to put it on.  Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween.

  • Aw haha Your littlest one prefers the biggest pumpkin. How adorable. And your family is beautiful as always. (:

  • @Agent_Spanky - Thanks for the comment. Yes, she does like the big pumpkin. That is how she is so big.  =)  Funny our oldest has always been in like the 3% range while her little sis is like >50%.  In fact I think in length she is like 95%!   Funny since they seem different in many ways.  I guess they will be those types of sisters that are radically different as opposed to being alike.  Hope you are doing well, your post the other day made it sound like you were a bit sad about something.  Take care.

  • @WmEric - Your little one really grew a lot! I used to be exactly like my sister when we were little. I was like an exact replica of her. haha As I get older I realize how much more different we are becoming. Maybe it’ll be the same story with your kids, except it’ll be the other way around. haha Yeah I was pretty down for the past 2 weeks. It didn’t help that it was midterm week either. But everything is much better now. It’ll be even better tomorrow when I finish my last midterm. haha (:

  • diana looks just beautiful in this photo!
