  • Kameisha & Emmanuel | Danville Engagement Session

The other week I finally got a chance to go out with Kameisha and Emmanuel. We were supposed to go out awhile back but the weather was so bad we canceled since I knew Kameisha would kill me since that was back when we had that super cold spell, and of course I had talked her into wearing a dress. Well needless to say I think she would have been very unhappy and probably would have brained me after we finished if not before. =P

They were coming in from the Stockton area so we were trying to think of some middle ground to meet but there are not a lot of spots between there and where I am in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. We decided to meet at Blackhawk Plaza in Danville. I must say I was not quite sure how that would work out but really it worked out quite well as there are just a bunch of little nooks and crannies to shoot in. Kameisha was great and had her super personality going full bore and Emmanuel was just a cool dude…although he looks great when he smiles too.

Here are a few shots from the day, Kameisha & Emmanuel were a lot of fun to work with. Thanks to Brian Lee who came out and helped me out with the shoot.

  • The Kim Family

The other week I got the chance to work with the Kim Family.  I can’t even tell you how nice they were and I had such a great time working with them.  And their kids are just as cute as can be.  Funny because as I have shot a number of family sessions lately, it really contrasts how different it is from a wedding.  Mostly because with all the kiddies you can’t expect to have that much control over the portraiture. But it is okay, just a lesson in life.  There are times when you need to really take control and create something and then there are times you just need to go with the flow.  Thanks to the Kim Family for letting spend some time with them and get to know their wonderful family.

Here are a few of the images from that day.

Grandma had to have some shots in their Traditional Korean Outfits.  Not always a favorite with the kiddies but I love it because they are just so colorful!
