About 2 1/2 years ago our friend Louis opened a restaurant over in the Rockridge District of Oakland.  The name of it was Noodle Theory.  Right from the beginning my wife and I loved it and in times when we had less children, we frequented it quite a bit.  Well recently Louis opened a second Noodle Theory over in the Cow Hollow district of San Francisco.  Located at 3242 Scott Street, San Francisco it boasts many of the same great dishes and even more all wrapped in a cooler hipper setting.  Well this week SF Station posted a review.  Check it out at:

I knew going into this session that it was going to be a good one because Ama and Andrew are such a cool and fun couple that it couldn’t be anything else but great.When I first mentioned some of what an e-session was they got so excited they began to think of things they wanted to do for the session.I love that since it means they are totally involved and excited about doing it.Well we took some of their ideas and I had a little input here and there… …and came up with a great session.

I know I posted a couple of pictures from Emma & Howard's Wedding the other day and I have other things to process through but I just could not resist throwing up a few more images.  So yes the "Tiny" tease is almost a "Jr" tease.  Ha ha ha...I'll attach the previous images too just to give it extra volume.

The wedding is normally the end of the fairy tale but in the case of Pauch & William it is definitely only the end of Chapter 1…okay maybe Chapter 2 since they seem to already have done so much together.Regardless, they are just starting out on what promises to be a wonderful life together.The end of this chapter though was no small thing.Pauch &William had a special celebration which started with a ceremony at the Presidio Golf Club and ended with people shaking what they had late into the night.In between was full of friends, family, fun, and all full of love.

Today was another reminder of why I love wedding photography.  Actually, there are many reasons but one of them is that I love to see how brides are just transformed on their wedding days.  Sure the fancy gowns, hair and makeup make some of the difference but really it is that special glow that they get on that day.  Emma & Howard attend the same church as I do and I just know Emma as a sweet, cute, and caring girl but on this day everything really came together and she was simply beautiful!  Howard is a lucky guy.

The other day I had a blast running around with Ama & Andrew shooting their E-session.  We went all over and laughed a lot.  I actually have to work on my images from a couple of weddings first but we had so much fun I had to toss up at least a couple.  Stay tuned they will be coming as soon as I can get to them.  Hope everyone is doing well and having a great week.

The other week I had the privilege of covering the wedding of Pauch & William.  My title is due to the fact that Pauch and William shared a bit about their engagement and stuff and how it was fairy taleish (is that a word).  They made references to the Frog Prince.  I don't think William is a frog but he did get his Princess.

This was my official coming out of hibernation after having taken a break with the arrival of my second daughter.  Well it was great to be back in the saddle so to speak.  Here are a few shots from the day.  Stay tuned for my full post later. Congratulations Pauch & William it was a wonderful day.

I can’t believe that it has already been a month since the arrival of my second daughter.  I had taken time off to help out during our transition to being a family of four, but on Monday I am going back to work at my day job after being off for almost 5 weeks.  I think that is going to be a shock to my system but probably worse for my wife who will then be home by herself with the two little ones.  In addition, I had also taken a break from my photography as well.  So in that respect I am also gearing up to get back into full swing with that as I have a few weddings and e-sessions coming up.  I am looking forward to shooting more again but also I am aware that with everything else all these things are just going to add to our crazy lives.  So if anyone gets a chance please say a little prayer for us as I have a feeling we are going to encounter new challenges in the coming weeks. 

Well stay tuned as I should be getting new images up soon.  In the mean time here is a shot of me with my two little ones.  Hope everyone is doing well.

As I recently mentioned I have been a bit MIA due to the arrival of my second daughter.  I have to say that I was not sure how it would be to have two and you know I still don’t know half of it but so far things have been different than I think I had expected.  I was not sure how I was going to love another one as much as my first daughter but really it is like many have told us.  You just do, you love them each differently.  I have to say that I had thought the no sleep and changing diapers would be the big adjustment.  Don’t get me wrong it is a tough adjustment and I thought we generated a lot of diapers before but now…  I must say though that what has been hard is watching my oldest try to adjust to having a baby sister.  I know at some point she will be a great big sis but for now she is trying to figure out how things all work and where she fits in. 

Well, I have always said my favorite model is my oldest daughter but now with the arrival of the second I guess I have another subject to work with.  Here are a few of her birth and a couple once she got home.  So watch out, there is a new model in town.  =)
